Meet the Heart Behind the Work

I’ve always had an eye for beauty and the way small details can change how something feels. Art was my first language — drawings, ceramics, printmaking, architecture — anything where creativity and emotion could meet. I studied Interior Design at Fort Hays State University and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts, knowing that I wanted to create environments that felt meaningful, not just decorated.

For over a decade, I worked in new builds and home remodels — helping people choose materials, colors, textures, and the finishing details that make a space feel like home. I learned how to listen deeply, how to understand what someone is drawn to (even if they can’t quite say it), and how to bring together pieces that feel intentional and personal.

I later stepped out on my own with Mary’s Art & Design, offering room refreshes, custom florals, framing, and (my favorite) Christmas tree and holiday styling. I loved helping people make moments and spaces feel special — thoughtful touches, personal treasures, things that made people say, “This is so me.”

Life shifted, and I found my way into the jewelry world — where I fell in love with photography and visual storytelling. Eventually, I moved into automotive sales, where I still listen, guide, and help people find things that feel like the right fit — just in a different lane.

But the creative work has always pulled me back.

I’ve learned that I love:

  • Styling moments to feel effortless but memorable

  • Refreshing spaces with personality and warmth

  • Finding the perfect little detail that makes someone light up

  • Adding a touch of sparkle (sometimes literally — glitter, jewels, shoes, ties, hats… I can’t help myself)

  • Crafting visuals — posters, graphics, story-driven edits — that make people smile

This isn’t about trends or perfection.

It’s about heart.

It’s about feeling seen.

It’s about that moment when someone says:

“Oh wow… that’s exactly what I wanted — I just didn’t know how to say it.”

That moment is why I do this.

This is the work that feels like home for me.
